Before you do it (if you haven't already) I recommend you drive a XR8 or GT.
Although the bulge looks pretty cool from the outside it is a bit of a pain from the inside especially when parking.

The one below is a complete custom fiberglass one to suit a VX. Custom Bodyworks at Padstow NSW made it for me and is top quality.

Why do you want the bulge, i dont think it looks that good  Not trying to dis ya, just curious because you may cop a bit of flack from the blue oval brigade about being a 'ford wannabe'or something along those lines...with the money you would spend on that bonnet you could do some kik ass mods :D

If you're going to fit a supercharger or something under it, I reckon the BA bulge will come into it's own. If it's just for looks, put the $1k plus into an LS1 edit and get more power first!

i dont care if i cop crap.
Im not anti ford. I like fords also, but own a holden.
i want the bulge because i want it too look like a modern version of an old muscle car, i dont like the monaro vents, i just want a slight hump. And none on the market look 'smooth' enough. The BA is the only one that suits me.
who cares what other people think? should i just get another monaro bonnet like everybody else?

You could try installing a 1974 Ford XB GT bonnet which looks very similar to the latest Monaro bonnet.
I've got a old Valiant VE and I installed a BA XR8 bonnet on it but Green Peace took it from me the other day. They said it was an environmental disaster, and they were going to scrap it.

Its a complete new bonnet. Aorund the $1500 mark painted and fitted in syd. Mine was a bit more as it was the one for the mould. Mine was made so I could fit 8 Throttle body manifold with trumpets up. As far as the blue oval boys go. They are usually proud that it has something Ford on it. Its probably the fastest XR8 bonnet

And do a 1.46 around eastern creek with the exact same setup
IMHO
Why put humps, scoops, vents, grills, etc on a car unless they are needed to get the performance?
OK, It might look good, but "performance look goods" are a wank unless your car really needs them.
Again IMHO, those type of mods are a waste of dollars and are just a subtefuge for those who are not prepared to pay the cost of actual/real performance.
Hey, I can make my car look like a V8 Supercar even if it is only an Excel!!!!!
My philosophy is "wear the image if your performance can support it - otherwise you are a ricer!!!"
Unfortuntely, there are a lot in our community who take pride in being a ricer!!!!

Maybe because I'm tall I don't notice, but what problems are there with parking? I love the look from the inside.
The biggest problem I have with the bulge is when you're driving into the sun, your visor stops the glare from above, but the sun then also hits the bulge and reflects it straight into your eyes.
