I have the job of installing a Nokia CK1 bluetooth phone car kit into the girlfriends 2003 Astra. Does anyone know if it has any concealed wiring in the dash or console area to make this job a little easier?
Cheers

remove the stereo from the dash and do all your wiring there, you will need an exrta pin to do phone mute. all the pin outs are labled on the stereo.

Mate,

All the wiring is accessable from behind the glovebox. From memory, it is a real PITA to get this in / out. But all the wires you need are there somewhere, I think running up from where the stereo sits towards the firewall. There is the phone mute and radio speaker intergration wires as well as power.

It was about 18 months ago when I removed a kit from the missus' Astra to throw into the Vectra.

Hope that helps some.

I spoke to Holden spare parts and they have a patch harness for the stero to intergrate a phone kit, but at $110 it's worth more than the phone kit.
