Does anyone know what the "Are you VX R enough? Coming Soon" quote on the HSV site refers to? It was put up in the past couple of days.

yep, what VooDoo said.
I guess that it will be 'revealed' at the motorshow in a few days time.
still don't understand why they would stick with VX-R, VX-R is like Vauxhalls HSV equivalent

and some could confuse it with the vx model commodores
Pretty simple really. To keep costs down the car could have been called the HSV OPC or HSV VXR. Considering the VXR comes in right hand drive and the OPC doesn't, VXR is a pretty obvious choice. It's appearance at the Sydney Motor Show is to test public opinion and they aren't going to design a brand new name and badge just for that. It will be imported but when it goes on sale it won't be called VXR. I've heard Astra R4, has a good ring to it.

Disapointing that they aren't even putting their original name on it, this half proves that they arent doing anything else either, HSV will simply slap their badge on the UK spec verson. Would have liked to see it "HSV-ised" a little at least. Not to say the Astra VX-R isn't a great car, but how can they ever think we will think of it as a real HSV?

The RRP will be (if there is enough interest) $43,000 and 0-100 is a touch over 6 seconds.
Hrm - a turbo astra or an SV8... decisions decisions
