Nice article. Great pics too. Are these two of the three new colours?

The new stripes coincide with the introduction of a number of exclusive performance hero colours: Bionic, Toxic and DeJaVu.

Bionic is a bold new non-metallic blue inspired by the iconic True Blue that was popular on XY GT Falcons while Toxic is a bright acidic green – similar to Citric Acid that was popular in the original BA series – and is close to the Lime Glaze colour that was available on XA GT Falcons. DeJaVu, which is due to begin production in December, is a new dark metallic green.

Yep, that's some of the new colours.

TOXIC is almost a flouro green that looks amazing in the flesh.

If so, hoping to get the same power as you have done out of your XR6T?

For a red blooded holden man like myself it hurts to say that those bad boy's look spot on ford is now starting to produce some cars that you actually lust for that yellow GT looks horn I'm going to wash my mouth out now.

Yes Myles - thats the plan.

The F6 comes with so much upgraded performance components, that to take it further is very easy and relatively cheap.

Unlike XR6T's, the F6 has upgraded valve springs, stronger internals, bigger intercooler, Brembo's, 6 speed auto (rated to 600NM of torque) and so much more.

Add a custom tuned EDIT and larger injectors and you get an easy 320 rwkw and an 11 second car. And you've only just begun...

Agreed .. mind you the red one looks best imho ..and obviously the quickest :D .............but Mr Pashen, how many Fords do we have now, claiming 320rwkw plus running at Willowbank yet to see daylight on the other side of 13 seconds...will the 6 speed auto be worth more than a second down the blacktop...I think not..but time will tell ;)

Ford is going to tempt a few away from Holden with these new cars. Looks have improved, spec sheets to drool over. Just need a diet. (not that my car is anything to compare weights with :) )

That'd be my end. :lol: I think I'd be happy with that for a long time.... :)

Manual XR6T's are yet to break under 12 seconds, even with that sort of power. The Auto's are quicker because they don't come off boost between gear changes. Your own Adam is now in the 9's. A showdown of all modded T's at the end of the year at Heathcote has a few contenders going for 8's. Like you said, time will tell. The evolution of these turbos has just been 3 years..

Indeed I have. :) ( note to self ,stop giving damn Ford drivers tips :lol: )….but many also witnessed a bog stock VX Calais run 13.7 on street tyres not too long after :eek: ……..admittedly the driver had more than 2 runs under his belt and a GTS maf pipe was employed for the occasion along with Monaro cai borrowed from LRC and removal of air filter for the occasion..

Dont worry fellas, Holden is coming up with some pretty wierd and wonderfull colours to. 'CRUNCH', 'CAOS', and 'TORCH' are just some of the new one's Holden has told us about. Bout time, Ford have really had us over the barrell in terms of colour. Should see these colours by the end of the year, in SV6, SS etc.
