Picked my ute up tonight after having a Gen PD installed/tuned and having my transmission rebuilt to Stage II and a shift kit fitted.
The ute is ROCKET!
Its making a healthy 269rwkw with the stock pulleys and the torque is huge. I havent got a dyno chart yet as I was so keen to test it out I forgot to grab it but will get it on Monday and post it up.
Gave it a little from a standing start and it was spinning at 60k's when I backed off, and that was only about 1/3 throttle! Ive also worked out that I have to drive with 2 hands on the wheel now!
Around town and in traffic the ute drives very well and is smooth and stock-like but as soon as you put the boot in a bit, it unleashes a demon.
The shift kit has fimed up the shift fantastically and they set up the firmness for Econ to "relatively firm" and Power to "chirping". The shifts are so much better and 4th gear is usable at lower speeds now with the extra power. Has really showed up how far my stock box had deteriorated.
I would like to thank Mick and Frank as they have been so helpful and invested time above and beyond the call of duty to try and get the best out of this kit (and for putting up with my many phone calls and copious questions).
