While getting my LS2 dynoed the other day I had the chance to have a ride in a Monaro that had just had a Harrop intercooled supercharger fitted to it. Even better than that the owner let me drive it as well.

While I am unashamedly an HSV man I have a renewed respect for people who unleash horespower from the non HSV LS1's

From the outside this was nice sleeper which I and other HSV owners would be embarrassed by at the lights.
My LS2 goes pretty well with headers and zorst but the supercharged Monaro took performance to another level.

Even allowing for the cost of the supercharger, decent brakes, headers, exhaust and suspension mods this seems to me to be a cost effective way to unleash some serious performance.

Maybe a supercharger for my LS2 will be next.

We have finished the testing of our new LS2 kit now.
Absolutley stock HSV GTO which has only done 3200km ended up with 365rwkw by bolting on a set of extractors and a Stealth supercharger.

Torque ... ??? ... Pulls like a schoolboy!

Idles & drives like a nice, sedate, standard Calais ... until you squeeze the go-pedal !!

:D

Bloody unreal!:D (with the supercharged LS2)

What boost was that running? do you have a dyno sheet for us? I just want to see where the power is coming in at.
