black strip

hey dudes i own a vt series 2 executive 2000 model..i was wondering how to remove the adhesive holding the black (door protectant) strip streching down both sides of the car..ive tried a few things e.g heating with hair dryer..but there has to be an easier way??? :bash:

Try heat gun, hair dryer not hot enough, and wax n grease remover to get rid of the residue

Just don't rip off the paint in the process !

Good luck, all the best.. I had a not so fun time getting those red stripes off my car a few years back.
