Hey all
as question asks
Dads out there now trying to remove it (and the belt obviously) and i want to know before he breaks something
The idler pulley (less then 12 months old) is shot and he wants to take it to work tomorrow morning
Hopefully someone can help me ASAP

What the idler pulley mate, youve lost me

Undo the nut on the front of the pulley, so it is loose , then wind down the pulley adjuster, which is a threaded bar running in conjunction with the axis of the pulley. Once the pulley is loose and no tension is on it, completely remove the nut and the pulley will come off.

stupid thing is less then 12 months old and the bearings shat itself, which is the reason it was replaced in the beginning (along with the harmonic balancer and water pump which also shat themselves) :rolleyes:
