Ute drags at Heathcote

Hey guys,

We had a great day on Saturday at Heathcote. We didnt have too many runs, but enough to test out our new drag exhausts, both cars sounding very crisp with a lot of comments from spectators.

We ran the quickest time of the day for the LS1 class at 11.04, even though everybody was suffering from the heat. Its good to see nobody put their car into the burnout comps, especially in the heat.

I'm interested to know when the next drag event will be, so we can get out again

What mods were done to the car that ran the 11.04

Sorry Mick and Frank for not dragging my Stater. It sounds like it was too hot to try and achieve the best times anyway, how did your car sound on the track with your new drag exhaust? I bet there werent any complaints about the noise down there like you had at the factory when you tuned it on the dyno :D
Still, good to see you had the best time of the day, considering everyone was suffering from the heat :mad: :burnout:

It was a great day my first time having a steer. That ute of yours sounds awesome! It was bloody hot though long sleeves helmet no aircon windows up and I work inside roofs most days. I had a great time I had the black VY with VZ gaurds n lights 19" chromies big wheel spin off the line need some practice. Got plenty of runs in cant wait for the next one :D

There were a few first timers out there its good to see more and more new cars and faces at the track these cars can certainly handle it.
You should try Calder if you can with bigger crowds and allot more adrenalin but with the new rules I need to do a few things to my VZ first..

Yeah mate I went down to Calder for a look see and then heard about the new rules so I didnt bother harnesses roll cages its my work ute for F#%ks sake. Just want to have the occassional blast down the quarter for a bit of fun. Had a great time saturday cant wit to have another go. Your ute sounded great by the way what have you done to it? :D
