Auto Technique Tuning

Thanks to the guys at Auto Technique (Mario/Grant) for a fantastic job in tuning my car today. Also to Dale Patterson at DPM, for his contribution to the job.

Cam only, end result on BP Ultimate - 298 KW @ Wheels.

Very happy with the job that they did, would recommend them to anyone.

Yes it is a big cam. The grind is a 232/242 @ 0.50. A little doughy down low, but once we hit 3500rpm, pulls like a freight train to 6800rpm. And yes, the car is a vx ss 6man, pacemaker 4 into 1 headers, remus cat back, 3:91 gears, otr intake, extreme clutch, and harrop shifter. Cats and remus system are holding the car back. Too much back pressure, will be upgrading system very soon.

He means that 300 rwrk cam only is not that uncommon......from memory Redlines car made that with a small cam and a good mafless tune......or close enough to it.

G and D have some near 300 rwkw cars to cam only I think.......

We had lots of fun tuning Big Benna's 344 RWKW Cam only ute. :D Even used it to tow a trailer on the weekend as my truck is getting an engine transplant. :eek:
Not recommended but was a laugh.

We have 4 cam only cars with over 300RWKW

We have done a truck load of 290+ rwkw Cam only cars .

Anything N/A over 300RWKW will be out of injector.

290 RWKW Cam only package is the best value for money and will retain good drivability.

there are alot of people on this forum that think because there circle of connections cant make "good power/bang for buck" that no one else can either. all i can say is "good work" on your well earnt acheivement :D

as ive been saying all year ls1 power has reached another level and beond and those who cant cut it shoudnt be doughting or questioning those who can.
