This is what 19's look like

http://www.oz8.org/gallery/albums/Misc-Barge-Pics/newwheels.sized.jpg

Ive seen a few Granges with 20's but nothing bigger. I havent seen to many styles in the larger sizes ive liked. Most are too ricey. You also need to fit coilovers or change your suspension as 20's will rub on the struts. (19's will rum on the front guard slightly at full lock too)

22inch rims will fit fine providing they are only 8.5inch wide.

Pirelli 30 profile tyres make them bolt up near perfect, with just the addition of coilovers on the front.

The ute over in W.A that had 22's everything bolted up fine as they were only 8.5inch wide. The black ute done by fabtec used 9.5inch wide rims, this required minitubs, and custom front and rear guards, huge amount of work.

However the car will need to be severely lowered as the 22inch rims will raise the car more than 1 inch. This is where the problems arise, the front needs to be lowered 3-4inchs from stock and the back 5-6inchs which requires the front guards to be heavily rolled. The back to have the inner and outer guards attacked with a hammer.

So when you get the 22inch rims, have stock springs in the back and have the coilovers set high and u'll be able to drive the car to get all the guards rolled.

If the car in question has already been set upto fit 20inch rims with 245 wide 35profile tyres then half the work would already be done.

The best thing with 22inch rims is that you can lower the car so the car is tucking rim and tyre yet is still above 100mm height wise.

the black ute done by fabtech, VILLIAN, has 22s as mentioned before, but he also airbags, which makes the whole ride height thing easy. But he had some serious guard pumping, both front and rear.

Grange 1 (here in WA) can fit 19" with either 275 or 285 (can't remember which) width at rear without any rubbing or mini-tubs etc. So quite a lot can fit

Stato's yes. Caprices are a bit more and Granges can still get low 30's for a good one from 1999. Hell, For $82k ill supply a genuine 11 second 2002 barge with a new 15k stereo, 20" bling wheels and a Turbo fiitted.

Err...... just another point wasn't there some images of a guys VU/Y ss ute posted a while back that had 22' rims and some where saying it wasn't legal or something. I may be mistaken but sure some said they where just for show and he didn't drive around on them cause they weren't legal

Cheers
