Was going to post some pics of my nearly complete custom twin 3 inch exhaust with 4 into 1 pacies with modified collectors to 3 inch and hpc coating for my LS2 VZ but realised when i went to put the 3 1/2 inch disk i downloaded it on at work in my laptop it has only got a DVD burner/writer which i didnt realise and i have owned it for 1 year.
I will post tomorrow. Its looking awesome and cant wait to start up.:D
Brad from the muffer shop Mr Muffler is doing it and its looking great. Will try and post video of the sound as well

Agree, you can't judge them fairly without hearing
them live :yup:
Must say though, the Sureflo 3.5 that I have
heard over the puter sound too much like my
old 3 inch for my liking. I am definitely biased
towards the 2.5 twin.

Nice colour that blue - hard to hear the exhaust clearly but sounds like it would be nice and grumpy under load :)

Yes, sadly a sound clip doesn't do a good exhaust justice. A few people that have heard my Defillipo system say it's sounds excellent (just a tad loud :hide: )
Brendan.
Here's a link to a vid that was taken of my car a few days ago. Visuals are crap cos it is filmed at night time, but will give you an idea of the sound with the new exhaust on the LS2. System on the car is a WORTEC Catback, shortly to be upgraded with 100 cell cats and headers and more noise. Will post some pics once I have cleaned the car :p

I pulled together some clips while researching exhausts. The bandwidth is poor and the descriptions need more work, but they may be of interest. Mainly US stuff.

Are those headers HPC coated? how open is the merge pipe section as it looks as though it is quite small compared to the sureflo or x pipe.

Those headers are hpc coated, thats all you need as di fillipo have proven them selves time and time again.
regards sonny
