Im not sure exactly what you want here..

If its just to write an MPG file onto the DVD why cant you open the DVD as a writable folder under WinXP and then drag and drop it with explorer..

If you're talking about making a DVD that can be played in a DVD player as opposed to just read in a PC drive then Nero can do DVD authoring. IIRC DVD format is just MPEG4 anyway as opposed to the lower quality MPEG2 or MPEG seen commonly on PCs

Rod, DVD is MPEG2. Thumper, an-D is correct. Nero Vision Express is what you want.

or a SE version (or 30 day trial) of Ulead DVD Movie Factory, you can select to not re-compress so it will put what ever bitrate your mpeg is at onto the DVD

It you jump on any P2P site and search for Nero Plugins you will find a tool to burn these files from Nero.
