Hey all

I was wondering if anyone can answer this question

I was watching the original tv ad for the VY Adventra and it shows the "pod dials" on the dash, the sort that come out on the VZ, Monaro and are now being installed like anything on VY's.

On the ad it shows simple angle dials, rather then oil pressure.

I was wondering if these were released on the VY or if they too copped the oil pressure guages? Our VZ SX6 Adventra has the plain base model type dash and we dont want to install a permanant guages up there, but I thought something simple like that might be an idea

I havent seen them around so I dont know if they were ever released or not?

The VY LX8 at least had the clinometer guage cluster.

Mine is temporarily removed and I have a different mounting platform there for GPS etc. If you buy the housing, no doubt available at great expense as a spare part, standard guages can/could be fitted, although the clinometer guages are a module, not individual guages.

yeah but they wouldnt need to be hard wired into anything like the oil pressure + battery power guages would they?

No doubt they'd be expensive and not really worth it, I was curious though if they were accctually released before the oil pressure / battery power fad took off
