Wheels are CTW brand, wheel type is called COOL. They are 20".

That is the actual height, no photochopping at all. They are Pedders SportsRyder springs.

awesome work looks wicked
I have been wondering how my Monaro would look with a VZ Monaro bonnet. One way to find out. The grill mod on the other photoshop versions is one I would like but there ain't much happening for Series I to III given the grill is fixed to the bumper. A version like the VY and VZ get incorporating the holden badge would look the goods IMO. Come on JHP, NVU, EMTECH. :)

More to come when ideas and time allows. Maybe if someone has a decent photo of their car - side on shot and or angled shot like the shots above and I can weave some photochop magic on something other than my Munro.
Post the original in this thread and I'll see what I can come with (time permitting) ..if anything. :) Some photos depending on angle, detail and colours don't much to work with but we'll see.

Do u reckon u could do a body drop, chrome up the tail-pipes a bit and put some nice wheels ( realisticly - not too blinged out) to the pic below
http://www.nextcar.com.au/rt.i.holden.VZ.monaro.cv8.rear.JPG
and make the body colour this pearlescent colour (its the special torque yellow colour for the last ever monaro)

if its too much of an ask dont worry about it i just reckon it would look pretty trick and may have a likeminded project in sight, just wanted to see what it looks like

It wasn't an easy one given it's angle (makes wheels tough to modify) and given its colour (dark colours don't leave you with much to play with) but results are okay. As I had to add a lot of colour to the original grey duco it can look a bit 'Playstation' like whereas other 'more colourful paint colours are far easier and effective to manipulate. Mods were lowering, bigger and wider rims, obvious colour change, tinted windows, and custom quad pipe exhaust.
Hope you like it.

mate, that is beyond my expectations. I'd die to know those awesome skills. Seriously this is your chance to cash in, start making money now! tip my hat to you that is a very fine piece of work, the pearlescent came out perfectly. Couldn't expect more, awesome job champ, ALL HAIL THE CHOP KING!
Here are some oldies that I dragged out of the files. Not sure who the cars belong to (the originals were off the forum) but were done when I was experimenting/teaching myself new tricks awhile back. Thought I would post them for those interested.

Chilly, I think he was refering more towards quad pipes on a VZ. I wreckon it looks pretty good.
For those interested...
I have grabbed a few photos off the forum and used them to practice on so I can further enhance my CHOP skills. I've been trying new things including lowering the shite out of the cars which ain't that easy. I used to bring the wheels up but that tended to look a bit fake as the shadows never matched. I've been playing with the concept of lowering the body of the car down onto the wheels. It doesn't take long but is fiddly and the biggest hassle or difficulty is manufacturing the background where the original body used to sit. Some times you get it to work and sometimes it looks obvious. 99% of people wouldn't have noticed unless I pointed it out but you will get what I mean if you compare the background of the original with the background of the CHOPPED version.
Anyway..
#1 is an arty one of Gareth's beast, not too much done with it but you'll notice that I removed the vehicle in the background so it doesn't interfere with the lines of the car.
ORIGINAL

CHOPSTICKED
http://members.iinet.net.au/~adsnmegs/LS1/garethssM.jpg
The next one was an early attempt at lowering the body of the car and manipulating the background. This was rushed job and I merely stretched the background down so it looks obvious if you are looking. but in saying that the mods took no more than 10 minutes. It's something different by way of colour, not necessarily better. Definitely lower.

#3 is one from the vault. I did this yonks ago but looks okay if you like arty poster like images. Probably good for a desktop wallpaper.
http://members.iinet.net.au/~adsnmegs/LS1/purpSSM.jpg
And last but definitley not least. Voodoo's Barge of Boost has been in my PHOTOSHOP for some serious mods.

CHOPSTICKED

Mods include the pearlesant gold respray, Voodoo Magic and Gen T graphics, airbag suspension, 20 inch colour coded versions of his original ROH wheels, heavily tinted windows, and as this photo was pre GEN T, I thought I would fit the Gen T to top it off.
Voodoo, here is the graphic I used on your Boosted Barge, might make an alright Avatar.

Excellent work! Do you think you could cast a wand over my "project in progress?" It isn't an LS1, but I think it has potential once lowered in the front. The paint is pearlescent but happy to see some magic:cheers:

I've had a bit of a play with your Camaro Project. I didn't mess with the colour cause I don't think you can beat red on a Camaro or Corvette.

Hey great work on the Camaro! I agree with pah, The lowered profile with the HSV wheels works for me. The coilover suspension is already ordered.:bravo:
Can I request a positive?(similar to the last pic of the SSZ ute) version of the camaro lowered. Thanks very much for new screensavers

No probs re the screensavers. Re your request, I will make you up one like the SSZ on page 1 but will have to do it when I have more time as the background is quite fiddly and would take a little bit on mucking around to isolate the colour of the trees v's the sky. In the mean time, here are some teasers. They are only 640 x 480 as I guess I better try and stop this thread being a dial uppers worst nightmare...too late.. I know. If you want a higher res version for a screensaver then I will send it on to you.

Agree. One of my favourite screen savers. F bodies nice but I'm a vette man.
A more radical Monaro make over. Cleaned up the door lines and removed the door handle for a smoother look. Didn't like it at first but has grown on me.

Hey Fireceptor, will give your request a go soon.
In the mean time here is a couple more of my Monaro. Not too outlandish (other than those 381mm Harrops - I wish!). Its been lowered a bit more, window tint a little darker, Harrops up front, debadged, and door handle removed. I also blurred the background. Here is the result.

... because you need 10 posts to post up a link/image for a non-sponsor company you suddenly decide to try to promote, so posting up 10 rather pointless posts to get there quickly seems like a good idea at the time .... until a Mod notices and you get reset back to zero and sent on a holiday for a little while :yup:
