VY Supercharged

My lad wants to install a boost guage in his supercharged VY.
anyone know where abouts we can connect into the manifold after the supercharger for the guage pickup?
It id the standard holden V6 supercharged engine.

Also what colour wire is used for the instrument lights at the back of the light switch, or is there a better place to get instrument light power.

If you tap into the interior controls with a T piece it will work fine.
Just make sure you put it BEFORE the check valve. eg

MANIFOLD ---> T-PIECE ---> CHECK VALVE ---> INTERIOR CONTROLS

otherwise the guage will show that its on constant vacuum because the check/oneway valve keeps the controls under constant vacuum.

the intake side of the intake manifold where the vacuum "t" connectors are on the vacuum , i need to get on the supercharger pressure side of the supercharger ?

When your on boost mate the manifold is not under vacuum its under boost. I jury rigged up a boost gauge at this position and it works fine.

Easiest way for power, is straight of the shifter light, just splice in there and run the wires to the guage.

and vacuum/boost hose, as explained above.
