Remus Exhaust

Hi,

I have a Remus Exhaust system on my VXSS and was wondering how they rate on the scale of good exhaust systems as I bought the car with it on. It does sound nice and I do enjoy great comments on its sound. It has what looks like a muffler just before the tail pipe outlet and it is a twin system, what I mean by this is they run side by side to the rear, are these system stainless steel? and is it a catback?

If its the race version, they sound great with a cam!

I used to have a Remus system on my car and found that it flowed well until I put a cam in. The remus system's are between 2.25 and 2.5 inch up to the rear muffler, and then just over 2 inches through the muffler. So they are not a genuine twin 2.5 inch system. I found that out the hard way after I put a cam in from all of the back pressure I was getting. Apart from that, the Remus is a nice sounding system that will serve you well with bolt on mods.
