Ok, i have to take my dad's monaro down to the zorst (bro:) )shop. He wants it LOUD he dosent realy care if it makes any more power and is happy with the note.
The exhaust shop suggested fitting Magnaflow rear mufflers, will this give me the result i want?

Say Bye Bye to the resinator and you will get the result you are after, without paying for 2 new mufflers. Some members have had drone issues with no res, but I personally have no problem with mine, and love the extra bark and rumble it gets :headbang:

Apparently the Holden engineers had a couple of goes getting the VZ Monaro to comply with the noise regs and only then did it just sneak under, so I'm thinking that any louder than std will be technically illegal noise wise.

Cheers

Chris.

So I got two hotdogs chucked on the back I think soundwise there is a bit of an improvement I didnt think it was that much louder (but my girlfriend complained it was to loud). Performance-wise I think! it revs out a bit easier like there is less restriction at high revs (this was not a factor in the purcase though)
