Buick Boat Tail, a personal favourite. Great rebuild kept fairly low key, no need for anything stupid with the Boat Tail styling anyway.
A "game" I like to play with pictures of old GM American cars is the styling influence on Holdens and sometimes even components. Obviously the side windows influence th HQ-HX Coupe and the passenger side dash influenced the HJ-WB dash. The little vents on the bottom of the dash were used in HJ-WB statesmans.

By '71 Riv were all 455 Buick powered weren't they? About 350hp or something like that .. TH400s (BOP pattern)
They came in a variety of engine sizes...but I'm pretty sure a lot of them came with 430ci V8s.
There's an absolutely beautiful one that I've seen around Cronulla a few times. Silver, immaculate, number plates matching the car and engine size...sounds fantastic.
Cheers,
- Febs.

I've been in love with that shape since I saw one on a TV show called "Due South" a few years ago. Nice example chilly :werd:
