Wife backed out of garage today and when she started to reverse she accidently hit the remote for the rollerdoor and its come down on the ariel and smashed it and pushed the ariel base down abit which has resulted in a small dint:mad: I was on this site at the time and heard the noise and thought S*it shes hit the SS:errr: Run out and she missed it but hit the door:eyes:
Does anyone know if to replace the ariel you have to go from inside and remove headlinning or it done from outside, its a AH astra with roof mounted ariel on roof rear. And also a price if anyone knows, Ta.

Sorry to hear,I have a ex who done the same if that helps, also astra. The aerial (wire rod) unscrews from the base at the black rubber section.
Could be worse mate,
I heard the squeal of rubber (not Saturday night) and then a loud bang. The next door neighbour's wife tore a new back passage for their garage. Punched the Falc straight through the brickwork! I guess she hit the go pedal by mistake and pushed harder, convinced it was the brake. If nobody's been hurt, you're miles in front.
