I bought my 2003 M6 monaro about a month and a half ago now, after saving for over a year. Best thing i've ever done. :yup:

It came with-
19" ROH Modena
Superlow King Springs

So far ive done-
VZ Bonnet
RipShift
Black Tail lights
Alpine F1 Status DVD player
A really good alarm

I got a new gear and handbrake boot and a VZ steering wheel to get rid of the red stitching from my interior. I want to replace the guages to white/silver with matching binnacles, but thats going to have to wait for a while.

Last week i ordered a brand new FAST 90mm Throttle Body and 90mm FAST Intake Manifold from the US at an unbelivabe price. Should arrive in the next couple of days.

Sadly, the money i spent on the FAST gear means i will have to wait a little longer to afford the new exhaust. I know it seems backward getting an intake manifiold before an exhaust, but the money i'll save in the long-term is a sacrifice i'm willing to make for now.

When i do have enough saved up for the exhaust i'm tossing up between 4>1 pacemaker extracors with a D&T (in adeliade) cat-back dual 2.5, or a full difillipo system.

I need some induction gear as well and i am leaning towards the new K&N kit. Mainly because of K&N's great reputation.

After that comes the LS1 edit and seeing as i live in adeliade i couldnt go anywhere but to Street_Tuna at Doughboy.

Well thats the long and short of it. I'll be updating my progress reguarly.

PS. I do not sell drugs

Nice ride.

I suggest speaking with 'Tuna' first before you spend anymore cash, would be interesting to hear his opinion of a K&N induction, I hear it's pretty ordinary.

Best of luck:yup:

Yea right ...

Just kidding. Nice ride you got yourself there, must be the envy of all your mates. As advised, go and talk to Tuna, let him know what you want long term and he can tell you the best way to go about it.

Congrats on the new car and well done for working hard to get something you really wanted ... enjoy !!!

Very nice mate.
Speak to your tuner about what you want out of your car before you go out buying mods.

Nice munro.
How's the ride with the Superlow springs?
What are those things on the top of the strut bolt?

Very nice mate. I'm sure you're happy with it, must have been rewarding buying a car like that after saving up. You got some goodies with it too, looks great in black.

Well done mate, looks great.
Nice choice of mods too. :)

Is it a Series II or III?

Very nice ride mate :), looks like a series 2 to me, you can tell by the side skirts. If you are going to get an airbox to make it breath better hunt around for a HSV one with the top closed and do the second hole mod. Makes heaps of difference especially on hot days.

What's the difference between the Series II and III side skirts?
Could be a Series III too as it has reverse parking sensors, they could have been optioned in the Series II though so not sure?

Parking sensors were standard on series II and above. The sidesskirts on the III's had more of a flair in them. But after looking at the sig it even says its a series II

wish i could afford something like that, I cant even afford bloody tafe fees this week (no seriously). Once I take out the cost of petrol and toll fees to get to and from work I'm only left with about 10 bucks a week, still I wouldnt trade my job for anything in the world and the added bonus is the pay goes up with the experience and I'm around (and in and driving) some pretty awesome and expensive cars.

Still nice ride, can I ask how the hell you go with insurance? I'm finding it expensive to get insurance on something like a VT 3.8 V6 with an SS bodykit, they wont even look at me if I mention V8 like a VT Calais V8, yet ive never been booked for anything and the only 2 accidents I have had have been other driver at fault with a police report on both to back me up:stick:

Just wondering, thats all.

Thanks for the good feedback, all
Yes it is a series 2
Insurance is a bastard.

Any thoughts on what exhaust i should opt for?
-Pacemaker 4>1, dual 2.5
-Full Di Fillipo system

I will definately be speaking to Tuna, i actually did email him, twice, but i didnt go through, so i'll have to call.
