any help would be apreciated:errr:
the only way i found i had it was it didnt let me join mirc:shiner:
thanks jim:cheers:
Which operating system and version are you running? I've had trouble removing a virus in the past because the automatic system restore kept replacing a cleaned system file with an infected one from the restore area - that's Windows for ya.

just btw......if you cannot delete the infection or infected file, get the name of it and delete it in safe mode. (tap f8 when starting your computer and chose safe mode) hope this helps :)

Jim if Nortons wont remove it for you then thats a problem.. Goto the Norton website www.symantec.com . There you will find info on just about every virus know to exsist (Except Women).. They have procedures for removing them manually plus tools to remove them if you AV program doesnt do its job properly..

No offence, but nortons is a real load of crap. Go download McAfee av and update it when you install it, do a full system scan and if it cant remove the trojan it should be able to quarantine any infected files, or tell you the name of it.
In my old days of being a script kiddie and playing with sub7 (the most well known and easiest to detect trojan known to man :D) 1/2 of the people i infected/found infected had NAV loaded and even running..... a couple even had norton internet security which has a firewall, yet i still got in! Didnt see 1 person with mcafee that was infected :p
