Totally agree, the exterior styling is muscular and angular...it LOOKS like a muscle car.

The interior........I dunno....

I reckon it would be a great rig if they gave the go ahead.......Dare I say 2008 Monaro???????

I find it interesting that they quote production dates of 2009. So from concept to production is 4 years? Bring it to Aus, we'll build it here quicker given our 1.5 year concept to production of the Monaro.

Where did 1.5 years come from? VT Coupe concept was first sketched by Simcoe during VT design in 1992. The concept was unveiled Oct 98' (approx. 1 year after VT release). The first pre-production test mule was run off the production line nearly 3 years later in Aug 01'.

So given that time frame, even if there is something on the go, and they get a concept up by late 2007 (1 year after VE release), then take another 3 years to get into production..... that would make it 2010 for Monaro. By then the VE will be old news. They can then use the coupe as their new hero car to bring some interest back to the brand.... again ;)
