A quick question. Just out of curiosity what is that box in the maf pipe (just before the throttle body) on the new V8?

like all such boxes on car intakes, it is an acoustic sound dampener to help shut up intake noise

I wasnt sure if it was that or an air chamber to increas throttle response.

I bet they get binned pretty quickly
