I just thought I'd post this up. A little something I've been working on.

First of all, for those of you who clicked because of the topic. Yes, I am an unhappy, Marrano's customer. I'm unhappy because I don't have enough money at the moment to turn my car into the beast I want it to be :(. But with what's been done so far, I couldn't be happier with the results.

The poem basically sums it up... But let me say this.

With no other Workshop in Sydney willing to even look at my car, Sonny took on the challenge, and even though I've stuffed him around a few times, and he's patient with me.

Once I sort out finances, stay tuned guys, This SV6 is going to be big ;)

Sonny, you're a legend, this poem's for you :p

It was very early, on a warm January morn,
The tow truck arrived, the clutch was gorrrn,
To Sutton's I said, the clutch is dead.
But warranty's worth a shot, unlike a Ford, Holden think with their head.

Overnight I waited, no news to be heard
The next day they called, abuse, "That's absurd!" ;)
I told them leave it in piece's, I'll come get it towed
4.8k for a Holden clutch, they bellowed.

To Marrano's it went, on the back of a truck.
Thank god about V6's, at least Sonny gave a f**k.
Onto Plan_B, the Textralia master,
We'd make sure my next Wednesday wasn't a disaster.

Through custom clutch builds, a few weeks it took,
But in the end I knew, it'd be worth the chequebook.
3 Weeks later, the phone rang.
It was Sonny "Hey Ben, I'm taking your car for a fang"

The mad dash from work, a sickie was chucked
I didn't really care, the curse of no car was soon to be ducked.
Next week at WSID, was going to be fun.
Previously, stock clutch and MAF, the SV6 had sucked.

It sounded different, I had to exclaim,
Twin 2.5" catback said Sonny, put the other 6's to shame,
After taking it for a spin, The difference was great.
Wheelspin into second with 2.87's? That's insane.

But now you see, we come to the pain.
I now must pay money, for much much more gain.
New Diff Ratio decided, 3.7's said Sonny
I said I'll get the cash, and we'll once again put the other V6's to shame.

Through tuning, and talking, Sonny's been great.
Even with my financial situation, he said "Don't worry mate"
We've chatted and talked for hours on end.
How can we improve this V6, So it'll eat a V8

Now here's we we stand, the SV6 lives.
No matter how much I thrash it, the clutch never gives.
And even though, it's not a V8 I own,
I'm still running mid 15's....just like Tone.. ;)

P.S Sonny hit me up on MSN/IRC, I need to get that money to you.

Here's mine;

Black cars are fast, so are red & blue
Sonny knows lotsa shit
And his floors real clean too

I clearly have more work to do than Ben

By the way, what are your plans for the SV6? Would be interesting to hear as i'm looking for some upgrades for my SV6.

Well, with the Tex and the Exhaust fitted. Short term will be hunting for a tune (either piggyback or standalone, unless someone can edit them), possibly an OTRCAI. From there, It's the saving game and off to FI-Ville, Care of Sonny, with a nice blower I hope :) Funds permitting ofcourse.
