Problem posting in WTB/For Sale classified forum

Does anyone know why I can post my ute in the for sale classifieds? I have been a member for only 2 months, and only posted to this forum a few times, (although the message when I log-on still tells me I haven't posted at all), but I just can't get to the 'post new thread' window in there. Is there something I am missing???? Lukas

You need to make 10 posts or more in any section other than the Forum Bar to enable the ability to post a FS/WTB thread. You have currently made a total of 4 posts ... all in the Forum Bar. ;)

Must have missed that sort of info when I joined the forum.

It is a recent revision which, along with a couple of other changes, are designed to ask that users contribute to the forums before certain features are enabled, rather than just join up to sell their items or try and poach members and leave.

(Not implying you are, just giving an example of the reasoning)

Yeh I understand....................... just had the idea of putting my ute on the forum classified after I read a post from a guy looking for one.
