My vt series 2 clubby had small dent on the right hand rear quarter panel, just above the petrol cap. After about a week of trying to convince myself that it "aint that bad" i couldn't take it anymore. I had to get it fixed. I rang Fix-A-Dent and spoke to Scott. He came out and fixed it. I was amazed at the perfection of this guys work. He is a real “panel artist” and massaged that dent right into oblivion. You’d never know that the panel had been dented. The car looks like it should, perfect. So if you are like me and want the panels on your baby looking as smooth as glass, give this guy a call.
Good feedback mate. I had a dent pulled out of my old GTS where someone had opened a car door onto the body of the car. The guy came and fixed the dent and said he wasnt satisfied with the job as he could only get 80% of the dent out. I challanaged everyone to find the 20% of the dent that was apparently left. No-one could!!

Just to play devils advocate, i hade one removed from a VL Calais i used to own. A noddy mechanic tried to close the bonnet with the stay still in place, the result was an outward dent about 10mm across and 5mm high. Had dentless repair done, looked fine but after about 6 months, you could see where it was, kind of a dull patch. Keep in mind this was about 7 years ago (so the process may have improved) and it was an outward dent that was pushed back in not out

As you are all aware, (having to buy a carton of 750ml bottles of JD to drown my sorrows) my VX got hammered by hail. All work was paintless dent removal. These guys are masters of the art. 12 months down the track and you would never have known.
Now waiting for my wifes CRV to be done after the last hail storm a couple of months ago....:cussing:

I have a guy here in Sydney I use and he is awesome. I even had a crease in the panel, and when he was finished it we perfect. Sure beats takeing it to a panel beater and having them bog it up and repsray the entire panel!

Just out of interest, what do they charge for a small dent (eg door bang from another car)?
Or is it charge by the hour(s)?

Do you have the number of the guy in Sydney that did the work on your car.

I was just wondering how this process is performed?
Holden put a nice dent in my car while it got serviced and they organised for it to be fixed.
Had Dragan from Dents R Us come and get it out. This guy was just insane - I couldn't believe how he made it look so easy and you couldn't even tell it was there. I got him to fix a few little shopping dents in the car while he was out and you wouldn't even know they were ever there.
Highly recommended - his number is 0419 232 754 and he is located at Narellan but is a mobile service. Tell him Matt in the silver VY SS sent you. :burnout:
Sorry - I didn't realise there was a paintless dent removalist which is now a sponsor who does the Sydney Metro area.
Mods feel free to edit my post to remove the contact details.
Cheers,

They use metal rods of various shapes to roll the dent out from the inside. Key hole surgery kind of.

yeah I'm gonna have to get 2 dents done
1s on the Adventra where a branch fell and hit the bonnet, it really sticks out (well its really pushed in :lmao: )
The other ones on the VX, the day I got it I didnt know the towbar was in the boot and I went around a large roundabout at pace and heard THUD, then when I was showing off the car I noticed its little bump out the side panel :(
It cost me $88 to get a ding massaged out of the front left door. I can't pick where the damaged used to be.
I used The Dent Man at Castle Hill NSW. His phone number is 0419 019 843. Apart from the fact that I reckon his work is very good, he chucked in a couple of stubbie holders too. I had to buy my own beer.

Fezz,
Dragan was the guy I was referring to as well. I have used him a couple of times and his work is top notch.

i dropped a ladder on my sisters 4 day old liberty late last year ( she was not happy) and it had a pretty decent dent.
took it to some french bloke down taren point in sydney.... amazing what they can do.
we took it to the guy, straight away he pointed out another small dent next to it me and my sister did not see (upon closer inspection you could see it). when finished, looked like they replaced the panel. the dent was even on a crease mark, and it turned out perfect....
this process worth every cent

Anyone know of a good one in Brisbane? I have one near the filler cap where it was bent back to far and the door dented the car panel. One guy looked at it and said it was too close to the edge but its only a very small one and doesnt have any sharp lines in it.
