Hi, guys, looking for a bit of feedback: If you had $4500 to spend on your car and were looking for bang for your buck, what would you go for and in what order?
I've already got my wheels, my lowering and my OTRCAI (not installed as yet) so what would be next on a list of go faster/handle better/look cool things to do?:deal:
This post could be good or it could die a thousand deaths...

1. Diff gears: $1000-$1300 depending.
2. Exhaust: 2nd hand HSV version or otherwise -$1000.
3. Tune (MAFless): $1200-$1500 also depending on who does it.
In that order.

Good exhaust, set of headers, edit, and definately a fire extinguisher. I'd rather blast the engine with a bit of dry powder than watch the whole car go up in flames

Knowing what i know now, i'd save for a bit longer and go straight for the GenT. Your in the right town for it. No need for diff gears, stally etc. You can always do them later. (i'd look at brakes though)

Cam (incl tune) and exhaust.
Good luck in deciding,
Macca
diff 3.91 $1100
Exhaust - mild steel = $700
Cam & tune - $3000
Slightly over but not by much. Car would be transformed. Prices estimates based on what cost me and what I've read.
