Handy bloke our Dattoman,,
Wondering whats his opinion on the 'Lucas' GDB 1344 and GDB 1332 (rear) pads with the DBA 4000 series rotors??

I know the Ferodo ts 2000 were great with the 040 rotors.
but I had a few issues using them with the 4000 series Rotors.

Cheers Tonner.

BTW anyone in Brisbane who has trouble getting the TS 2000 pads, can call Trevor at Repco Ipswich 32817411 He will know what you want.

awww....... I'm all embarrassed now
Glad you got your parts Avalanche. Sometimes the mail system works.
Tonner:: The lucas pads seem pretty good
I haven't used them myself on anything fast ( just my company car - Echo) so I can't say how good they really are
But being TRW and European standards I'd say they are nice high friction , yet bloody dusty
Certainly worth giving them a try. They are cheap enough
Those part #'s should read GDB7584 front and GDB7586 rear (GDB1344 is the rear of a 3 series BMW)

Cheers

I might as well jump on the bandwagon. Could you PM me the price for TS200 pads for the PBR set up.

Cheers,

To save 200 PM's

Ferodo Formulas

DB1331FF front std brakes $140
DB1332FF rear std/perf brakes $ 130
7599FF front performance brakes (C5-PK1) $140

DS2500's

7599 DS2500 front performance brakes (C5-PK1) $ 330
DB1332 ds2500 rears std/perf brakes $250
Sadly they don't make DS2500's for STD caliper. They can be cut to suit but are pricey to do this way.

Front and rears in FF just scrape into a $12 aus post 3kg baggie
The DS2500 seem to weigh slightly more than the FF so need to go to 5kg baggie. $28 for everywhere cept NT which for some reason is an extra $10. Freight prices are ridiculous. If your not in a rush post would be alot cheaper.

Cheers
Neil
