Don't think I'll worry about it ...

I pulled my seats out 2 weeks ago and put new ones in. The earth wire was on when I pulled the old ones out and I put it back when I put the new ones in.

Mine was built March 2003 and is going back to Holden for the Right Side exhaust manifold replacement:vpo: so iI'll get them to check my front seats out, just to be sure!

Check that owner manual, and the car itself for them. 'Airbag' will be stamped on the relevant component usually.

The sideairbags can sometimes deploy on leaving the vehicle due to static.

Quick fix, Put a spring on the frame of the seat to a grounding point.

Nice....

And remeber guys not to fit non gen seat covers with out side airbag provissions cos they wont deploy....

cool i dont have side airbags but my mate has a vy2 with one and a wife that needs a smack in the side of her head.:lmao:
