Redbook? Meh. Look up 2001 clubsports and see what they say then compare to what they sell for. Redbook is only useful for car salesmen to get someone to trade in their car for next to nothing...

To my knowledge only 124 VX XU6 were made, and considering the kms, condition, all books new tyres, rwc I felt it was a fair price. Online car websites have 3 similar cars for sale with most over 100,000. Most VT models are for sale for 19-21k. However as stated in my original post it is ono. So feel free to make a genuine offer.

That redbook thing is silly, it works it out the price by 22%pa. it doesnt take any factors into account like less then 200 were made and are quite rare.

Why not offer forum members here a good deal before you trade..I'm assuming you understand the principle of change-over price when trading -in?

If so we both know the bottom line on the car.....it's just a suggestion ..as you'll do a better deal with the new car by selling here for cash / one forum member will get a nice car, but best of all...you won't drop a bundle trading in with the Dealership
