Hi All,

Unfortunately l had an accident today :cussing: and smashed my front end in. Can anyone recommend a good repairer in the inner melbourne area?

Also what do you like better a VY Calais front bumper or a VZ Calais front bumper?

To put the photos up you need to host them on a web server. Haroc has put a "How To" up on this. Check out the forum help & feedback section.

I can't provide a good smash repairers name sorry (we deal with plenty at work, but can't confirm their quality), but personally I like the series 2 VY Calais look the most. If you go to a VZ bar, you'd have to change the headlights as well, if they aren't damaged (can't tell in photo).

Sorry to see the damage to your car. There is only one place to go for smash repairs in inner city Melbourne ................ File Finish p/l, Johnson st, Fitzroy. Speak with Rowan. They have a1 tradespoeple working their, and they are no more expensive than any other smash repairer. One visit to their shop and you will understand what i mean.

Also try BM Refinishers in Grange Road Fairfield - home of Craig Munro aka Tryhrd - they do some very nice work.

Man l hate dealing with insurance companies. Basically they wont let the repairer replace the headligts with new ones despite them being snaped off from the brakets (possibly othe damage). As well as the condensor being sent out to check if it can be repaired. We are talking about $700 worth of parts on a relatively new car.

Not happy :(

The insurer is Suncorp/GIO. Has any had problems with them?
