Due to their annual policy review RAA have increased my premium from $700 up to $900. Apparently it has been a wide range issues, cost of repairs, where you live, how old and so on.
Time to do some shopping around.
I was looking forward to decreasing premium since turning 26.
Not Happy.

Thats a bit steep - I'm only 23 and pay $1000 for my VX SS. Thats through RACV.
Once i'm over 25, that insurance cost will go down to $750.

Where you live can have a very big impact, especially in a high theft risk car like Commodore-based cars. When I moved house last year my premium dropped by something like 15% purely based on the new address (my insurer doesn't take garaging method into account).

Looks like I will have to move to Hobart then. I am 30 and paying $1500 for mine!!
Vxtreem, I know the feeling. After I turned 30, the well known insurance company I was with decided to up my premium by $200, whilst dropping the value $6000 in one year. Fair enuf, but I took my business elsewhere!!
There's plenty of insurance companies out there dude, make them work for your business, play them off each other.
And as for my old insurer, so much for H E L P..
