View Full Version : cant connect to Haroc's server

I hope this is the right section to post this if not moderators feel free to move it..
I noticed that I cant view pics hosted on Haroc's server and I also cant connect to it via the FTP Commander. When I try I get this:
"Connecting to haroc.1337thing.com , 17 Mrz 2006 01:09:24
500 Connection timed out (Winsock error #10060)"

I'm hoping that someone can help here... Thanks in advance

Cant someone help me here? It's not that cool not being able to look at 90% of the pictures...
It's not the same kind of fix without pics:lol:

I also haven't uploaded huge things - just two small pictures which were around 80kb

well, the ftp is fine, might be an incorrect setting with ftp commander... if everything is on default settings it should work.

would that affect the internet explorer too? Because I also cant go to http://www.haroc.1337thing.com/ls1 with my browser:(

I just tried it with another PC that is connecting via the same internet connection an it also wont work. This one hasn't the ftp commander installed. I always get that the page can not be displayed. But I was abled to connect 3 days ago and now . I always get that the page can not be displayed.

Sorry for writing new posts but I cant edit the old ones after some time...

Yes I noticed everybody else can view the pics... Somehow it's just me?

might very well be an ISP issue, im not 100% on the lingo for such things :)

Thanks for the info Haroc... Will I have to contact my Internet Service Provider?
Could it be that my IP has been banned for your server? Would you be able to find that out?

I have no bans in place, it might be a forwarding issue, I honestly dont have a clue, give it a few days it may resolve itself

It's back... just came back as I tried today. I didn't have to do anything but waiting.

Thats another problem that appeared after its been working again for 2 days. But this time it isnt only me experiencing it. The initial problem is solved though. Went as quick as it came...
