Damn hard to understand that text but what kind of lights are you getting? With most taillights (i.e. Monaro taillights) you won't need the VT garnish anymore so that a VX (not the Calais/HSV style) garnish would be the best option.

The only options that look good on VT (without changing tail lights) is the Berlina item (looks like stock but with the reflectors for the inside lights) or the Calais one (same but with chrome bar over the number plate). I would have thought that most people (incl. me) would love to have the stock HSV item over any other.

I would have kept the HSV version too but its your choice

I also believe you can buy the VX garnish which is just a plain plastic piece - paint it to your liking (ie match it to the car). Munro lights need a different wiring loom, I dunno about it, my VX has them already installed when I brought it and I'm too lazy to change it back to stock SS lights.

I wouldve thought your very limited with these rear lights unless you go modifying the panels - VT, VX or Monaro ... which is more options then some other models have!

Ironically the VT HSV garnishs are just Exec level with the HSV badge attached.

No extra lights for all the extra $$$ ???? :spew:

May be a little off topic but is it hard to go to berlina spec by getting the extra bulbs in the garnish? What would it involve? The GTS's have the berlina/calais spec rear lights while the Clubsport only has the exec/Acclaim rear lights.

PS: I'm talking in terms of the VT's incase people werent sure what I am on about.

I've been thinking of doing this upgrade on my SS as well.

I think QIKMIK has done the change over on his car so he might be able to give us some tips on how-to and maybe some part numbers
