I did the full Harrop tour with Ken (in my pre G&D days) to prepare the Harrop Sponsor in the Spotlight review. Ken mentioned back then that they were thinking of getting tours organised.
All I can say is that if you get the opportunity you should grab it. A very impressive operation. If you haven't read the Sponsor in the Spotlight review take a look to get an idea of what there is to see.

Harrop are still planning to do regular tours, but as you would imagine our initial numbers have been quite hard to manage.
We have trialled several different tour numbers with some car clubs to get a feel for what is a good number to allow for information to be heard, and ease to control (and wipe up the drool!!!).
We will endeavor to contact those who have already registered to arrange a suitable date, most probably on a Saturday.

Hi All,
Thought i would just let you know i did a tour of Harrop Engineering and man was i blown away!!!!Unbeleivable capabilities to do just about anything you can think of!!:yup: i also met Bill and Ben the flower pot men (Damian and Chris) top couple of blokes when you get to know them. Parked out the front of the building was a 645 ci bmw (the bosses), an 05" gto -which is supercharged and a holden 5.7ltr Adventra which is soooooopppercharged as well!!!:bravo: Man, i really think you guys should try and organise a tour of the place as it is really worthwhile and a real eye opener and insight to how it all works. Anyway it`s a thumbs up from me...very,very impressive!!!!:flip3:

onetonmondeo,
Thankyou for your feedback.
Since your visit, we have updated the black Adventra to a VZ SS (stay tuned for future developments for this toy!)
We have also purchased a BA XR8 ute for the final details for our new Stealth Ford kit to help those poor Ford guys who are feeling left out
Shortly we will be arranging some dates for those who have already registered for a tour.
