Hey guys, just want to take this opportunity to thank all involved in the organising of the 2006 LS1 Nationals.
Our crew and customers all had a blast. Staying at the track was very enjoyable and and it was great to be able to catch up with everyone including Russell and Joanne (even though I did get shot with a fire cracker).
It was a good turn out for all.
All of our cars ran very well, excluding mine which kept breaking blower belts. Jeremy's VU SS with the little PD blower ran a new pb of 12.14, so well done Jeremy. Nathan ran an 11.71 in his VY SS unopened. Jay ran a 12.71 in his WH Grange in full street trim. Rob's VZ ute ran 11.3 with 100 shot of NOS. Frank's blown VZ still having issues with valve springs, running an 11.37. The debut of my blown VZ off the pace, but still very happy, 10.75 - 10.74 back to back. AC Delco crewman with baby camshaft running 13.36, its first time at the track, running hard lid, full exhaust, even street tyres. The only trophy going to Mick Egan from Pitlane for a Ford
Once again, thanks to all involved and all who attended for once again making a very successful LS1 Nationals!! Look forward to next year.
Regards Mick

Well after hanging around the APS pits like a bad smell all weekend I have to say your all a great bunch of blokes. I had a ball all weekend, the after dark entertainment was definitely a highlight of the trip.
Hopefully I can come see you guys soon with a fistful of cash and next year maybe get the old girl out there with all those utes.

Thanks for all your help & prep work for the Nationals.
First time out and the Crewman ran 13.36 @ 117mph, with hard top / tub liner / tow bar / street tyres / baby cam / full exhaust system etc etc & nearly a full tank of petrol (I couldnt get the Crewman to use enough juice on the way to the track 10.5lts per 100k).
I had a great time and the car performed perfectly.
Cant wait to get the Crewman out there again and see what we can squeeze out of it next time.
Thanks again for all your help.
Cheers
Chris.

Thanks for the mention Mick and as a token of good will and for all the dyno time you guys have helped with my pursuit, I may let you touch my trophy :flip3:
Seriously though, with out the help of APS Frankston, my pursuit would not have been as successful as it has been, It's been out 3 times, reset the unopened boss record evey time and came home with a trophy for 2nd place
Thanks again
Mick

Sorry Chris it probably was us. If i'd known you were staying at the track, I would have dragged your arse out of the tent for a couple of cold ones around the fire.
All in all a great weekend
Cheers Mick

Sorry Chris, that was me, and best next time you come to the campfire, as me and cam (pursuit) had jay outnumbered 2 to one in a full on Ford vs LS1 argument, jay could have used the backup.......
Also, sorry about the tilt tray firewood collection run, no animals were injured.........

holdn tease, its a drunken blokes around the campfire, horsepower, ls1 vs ford argument, watching educational DVD's all in the bush where no one can hear you scream, endangering wildlife, plugging laptop into LS1, adjusting rockers, firewalking kind of thing............
it could have used a womans touch - in fact, i think it did in Robbys car.....
You would have been proud!!:nyuk:
