I thought I would throw up a few pictures of my new beast I have had for a couple of months now. Iv browsed this site fairly frequently but only become a member since I actually purchased an LS1. I use to own a vn ss, which was my first car. Now stepping into the VX SS, my driving experience has gone up a whole level, and im loving every minute of it :yup:

Looking forward to becoming part of the forum.
Christian.

just really the usual stuff, edit, 3:9s etc.. it has enough power for me at the moment being on my green ps, so i want to keep my driving record as clean as possible. Also i have a few plans for the exterior and interior too, nothing too extreme but it will be sitting a little different than now thats for sure :) like I said before though, i have minimal money at the moment so its gonna stay as is for a little while, maybe the odd thing here and there though.

yeh mate, sounds like a smart plan, problem is most people cant help themselves, i think some diff gears etc will be the end of you ! next a exhaust, then some other small bolt ons.. say a harrop blower etc :D :p

good luck with it mate.

its an SS, with a calais rear garnish.. i always wanted a vx calais, but i didnt want an auto. and i knew i wouldnt bother converting once i bought it so i thought i would get an ss and just convert the rear end :)

Some people prefer the lower profile look. That is all.

Very nice, pity about the yellow number plates...

Is your exhaust a bit wonky or is that just the pic?

yiddo
23-05-2006, 01:39 PM
yeah mate the exhaust is wonky and doesnt sit the whole way up. Only way to fix it is to reweld it iv been told. Can't be bothered, il just wait til i get a new system :) il put some new pics up a bit later with the garnish painted etc. Looks a lot better. \

Long story about the number plates... having problems getting a signature off the previous owner of the car as he is in America atm. Will be getting some asap though! they give me the shits!

Nice car, I have the same model and colour. First time i've seen a white vx wingless. Looks pretty f#*king good. Think i might loose my wing as well. Is the car lowered? if so how much coz it sits just right?

19 and a V8, in New South, hmmm, is that kosher ?

Edit - oops, nice ride champ. Big fan of the no wing, makes it look nice and clean.

thanks for the comments.. iv put the wing back on for the time being only because i was getting annoyed with the fact that tape was covering the holes and it looked so untidy :) it still looks great on with the wing i think.

I can sort out my numberplates now so im going to order some asap. I cant wait :D

looks quite good without the rear spoiler, the calais rear sets it off nicely.

Yes low is good.

Nice treatment of the tail end. I must say with or without spoiler looks good to me. Currently planning something similar on mine (VX SS Also), going to use a Berlina garnish and remove the reflectors from the rear bar. Will post up pics of mine when i can.

Enjoy it Mate.
