Brandon Park Shell 7am this morning:

Unleaded 130.9
Picked up some Shell 95 for 132.9 after the discount voucher.

This evening on the way home from work: 144.9 for Unleaded.

I have been filling up every Wednesday morning for months now, always been the cheapest then, but then again, every so often it doesn't go up on a Wednesday... so who knows!

$133.9 Boost98 Hallam. Think I just beat the price rise as others had just jumped about 10c as the news I heard at lunchtime said was about to happen. I was down to 80km left so went out as soon as I got the chance.

ULP 139.9/PULP 145.9/Ultimate 159.9

WTF..
normally there is onlt a 10 cent increase from unleaded to premium (98), is yours that much because of area???
Or is there a mistake and its ment to be $1.49 not $1.59

The gap between unleaded and premium is only 6cpl, it is the
98 fuel that has the big jump, and that jump is actually smaller
than usual at the moment for Darwin/Palmerston.

Equivalent to $1.44 AUD in straight conversion but wages lower in NZ. BP ultimate $1.82 so $2 is fast approaching

$144.9 seemed to be the going rate for regular, some had as low as $139.9 but they were of course against peak hour traffic on the way home.

Keep in mind its Wednesday afternoon. By about 11am the prices skyrocket and dont come back down till Friday. I always fill up on a Sunday or monday thats when its at its cheapest

They were talking about it on Triple M this morning on the cage, "what makes you petrols bitch" and what you have to give up to afford petrol, and whats funny was the people who rang up and said they fill their car with 98 or they own a HSV or a V8 all said they'd rather give up going out for dinner then to give up driving their car.

Then of course after spending 20 minutes bagging fuel prices they had to make mention about the incredible fuel economy of their sponsor the Falcon XR8 ute :lmao:

well the fuel price rise again in start of july, as fuel stations will lose some or all of the rebate they get, so that means at lease a .10c jump still trying to find out more.

I assume you are referring to QLD only? There is no rebate in NSW (is there?)

i know petrol prices suck but what can we do about it, we all need petrol to run our cars even if it gets to $2 a litre. the other thing i have noticed is there is a lot more v8s for sale and they are coming down in price where the 4 cylinders seem to be going up in price.:driving:
