Had a pretty fun day at Powercruise today but unfortunately didnt catch the drift action. Found some photos at a tent that was selling them and it didnt really seem like I missed much.

FORTUNATELY though I managed to catch the drag racing show which had some spectacular burn outs and some seriously tuff cars.

Taking nothing from the drag strip fellas but I was kicking myself for not entering the Powercruise! Looks like it would be heaps more fun there. Loved the drag racing there. No lights, no times, just a guy waving you through and whoever had the quickest car stayed. Looked like heaps of fun. The cruise event was great with heaps of cars either just putting around the track or just giving their cars an absolute hammering.
Only thing I would worry about is someone losing it into me :bawl:

You still can. It was only the one day powercruise. The real one is in September and goes for 4 days. Will be a good weekend.

I'd have to get a bit closer to be exact, but it's a '71-'73 Camaro.
(I'm still trying to find an unmolested '69 for the right $$:( )

OT. Stuck in the 12.70's with 112mph. I could come up with a 1,001 excuses but I wont. The next trip out will probably be the SC day on 24/06/06 .......... with a 3,000 converter and some much improved tyres on board.
BTW the Powercruise looks to have been a good day out!

Quite a few things contributed I feel. As I said 1,001 excuses ...........some mine, some weather, some track, some car!
