Well both have advantages and disadvantages.
For both you'll need a good exhaust/headers to make them work to their best potential.
Disadvantages as far as I can see:-
Blower - no more stock engine bay, more components, may not live up to your expectations.
H/C - no more stock idle, emissions may be a concern, you cannot change it over if you sell the car without mucking about, may not live up to your expectations.
IMO - Go Head/Cam.

I'd say go head & cam........I've done cam only, head & cam, blown and turbo and I will never fit a charger again as breaking blower belts every few weeks gets annoyin but never had a problem with head & cam combo and was great for power espically with HPF's grinds.

I'd go the blower path.
To get anywhere near the power a good S/C set up you will need an aggressive cam which may make the car a little unfriendly on the street.
A well tuned S/C set up will have a stock idle and stock-like economy until you give it a boot full.
Also it is easier to remove the S/C kit to return the car to stock comparedf to a H/C package.
