Just got back from a great afternoon at Wanneroo.

Todd Kelly had a intermittent computer fault which kept on cutting his electrics, so they said at the track.

Very clean race with Skaife holding out Richards and Lowndes. Skaife would pull away from Richo and Lowndes out of the corners, and then Richo and Lowndes would come back under brakes. Great Stuff.

Todd Kelly will start on pole as he didn't finish all the laps today.

Can't wait to go tomorrow.

Anyone know what happened to Todd Kelly?

yes his gearbox got stuck in a gear... dam good race.. Tander got the start on Skaife and then blow a corner wide on about lap 2. went back to 4th and then got back to 2nd when he pited. cam out in 6th or 7th and worked his way back to 4th. skaife led from lap 2 all the way to the end.

God I hate the points system in this series !!!

When the difference between 1st, 2nd & 3rd is 8 points but 1st place gets almost 300 points in total, how are you ever supposed to catch up after a bad round ???? I know they drop the worst round but the system basically ensures that 2 bad rounds puts you out of the championship. I rewards finishing races rather than winning races. Russell Ingall has looked fairly average so far this year, he certainly hasn't been dominating races, yet he is leading the championship :doh:

Is it just me, does anyone else agree ?

second round in a row for Lowndes,his driving really isn't as clean as it once was.As far as Canto,the Rat's engine cut out as he was coming out of the corner so I can't really see that it was Canto's fault

I agree Nick. From memory, last year Ingall won the series without even getting a win, and looks like he may do the same again.

I agree, its been turned into the series that rewards mediocrity over wins. Skaife wins 2 of the 3 races but can't take away the round win? :confused:

throw in this stupid reverse grid race - the first part of the race was processional at the rear of the grid, winning race 1 looks like its almost a negative...
