You'd think they'd retrieve the alloys off them before they crush the cars.

If you look at the white ute second from the top, you can see the crash test stickers down the side. My guess is that the Holdens are engineering crash test samples.

The yellow one (facing left) looks like it has a US GTO front bar on it.

All engineering cars.
Used to be the case that Holden or more specifically the security guards sold off bits from them. That stopped for obvious reasons. Now they meet their destiny or in the case for these cars the meet the crusher.

they even spray the lines on them to see that they arrive at the recyclers in the same way they were stacked on the truck.

the white sedan on the bottom has some daewoo/chev looking doorhandles and taillights and some chev logos on the rims... It looks a bit like the vectra replacement I posted some time ago

I was thinking it could have been a VE, but after closer inspection i think your Right Guzzles, and also have a look at the pic of the back end of the white car hanging out above the yellow GTO. See that shape of the taillight? Same as the Epica/Tosca.

Good spotting!!!

Holy potatoes jim.

This just doesn't seem right. :sux:

They could have done some good advertising with those babies.

Imagine having one of these just to wreck on film. Yeehah. :driving: :astavista:

If you look closely at the car towards the top on the right (i think)
you can see the crash test symbols.

I think they crash test dummy cars!!!

Either way........ WASTE!! i want some rims

i wouldn't want rims that had been in a crash. who knows what weakening they have suffered.

the interior and engines though....
