Well this was my intro to the Grange back in 2004....

Now not even 2 years later, it has clocked 200,000kms and is still going strong. Thought I would share my experience with the Grange over that time.
MODS:
3.7 diff gears, Ls1 Edit (Mafless Tune = 235rwkw)
AUTO:
Original auto was replaced under warranty at 90,000kms due to flaring between 1-2 and 3-4 shifts.
FUEL ECONOMY:
Continually returning between 10.2 and 13.5l/100km average on a daily basis dependant on city/hwy mix. (Use only BP Ultimate or Caltex Vortex).
SUSPENSION:
Front and rear Struts & Shocks, strut tower caps, radius rod bushes, inner and outer control arm bushesm sway bar link pins and bushes, steering rack bush and LH engine mount all replaced at 190,000kms.
TYRES:
Original 235/45/18 Bridgestone S-03's lasted 75,000kms
Optioned 245/35/19 Pirelli P-Zero's lasted just on 55,000kms
Replacement 245/35/19 Hankook K104's lasted 71,000kms (could have prolly got another 5,000kms out of them but as this is a work vehicle with the responsibility of transporting the general public... and Melb now into Winter... thought it appropriate to replace them).
This car is otherwise original and is as tight as a frogs arse.
Could not be more satisfied with it and is a prime example of a HSV that has been looked after and even though cops the occasional hiding is in A1 condition. The interior is as new and has only been maintained using the Maguires Leather Wipes and misc. Carpet cleaning products.
Bring on the next 200,000kms.....
