Hi guys I'm fairly new to the forum so i thought I'd post my ride. I own an 02 VY SS M6 in Hothouse Green, and leather interior. Ive had her for about 5 months now and have added, pacemaker extractors and single 3 inch cat back with 1 stainless muffler, split engine covers, SS inductions CAI and have replaced the stereo with Pioneer deck, Cadance 6.5" splits in the front, stock 6" in rear doors, pioneer 6*9's on the parcel shelf and 2 MTX 12" subs. In the not too distant future I want to get a Maffless Edit and thinking about a cam. Ill get some pics up as soon as I can

Hello all. i also have just picked up an 03 VY SS 'hot house green" sedan. I gather from the factory 'by design' badge on the back, that the glass roof, full leather, auto and lowered suspension were done at the factory.
Plans for the near future are:

a. supercharger, defilipo headers, cats, 2.5 rear, otr intake and edit (i can justify this upgrade) or.......

b. Twin turbo, defilipo headers, cats, 2.5 rears, upgraded auto and edit but this upgrade is hard to justify !

either way, I will post some pics when done

Very nice. When is the MAFless tune coming? Make sure they they sort out the SS inductions problem. ie disconnect the pipe from the SS inductions unit to the airbox and put back the MCAI system. OK to leave the scoop part of the system in place. Those coits are still selling these things under false pretences!

The maffless edit should be coming in the next couple of months depending on finances lol. I'm thinking about getting an OTRCAI, I think they are pretty good arent they?

Yep, worth time on the track (at least 2/10th) and throttle response on the street is unmatched BUT you have to make sure that it fits all nice without rubbing under the bonnet etc.

02VYSS,
Just posted my car in "your ride" yesterday. Easiest way to upload pics is to put your photos on cardomain.com! It's free and photos are uploaded straight away. Then when you click on the "insert photo" icon in "your ride" insert the web address of your pics.

I think its a single 3 inch of pacemmaker headers into a stainless cat and stainless tip. The burble it gives on deceleration makes women orgasm, and guys wet themselves.

single 3 inch ... wouldnt the be holding it back alittle?? but i guess if it sounds good and goes hard enough then its not a problem!

Cheers Doc,
Ive got pacmaker headers down into standard cats then into single stainless muffler and single 3 inch with stainless tip. I'm very happy with the note that it produces and really doesn't seem to hold it back at all. Ill take a vid of it sometime soon and post it up so you can all hear it.

I had a bit of a smash on thurs arvo after work, my front bumper had a bit of a run in with the towbar on the back of a van. We were stopped at a set of lights. When the lights went green we both started moving and then a kid riding a bike decided to cross the 3 lane road infront of the van, the van jumped on the brakes and so did I but didnt quite stop in time. I didnt even see the kid until after the accident. Needless to say I was quite pissed off, but i guess these things tend to happen unfortunatley!

That's why it pays to sit back and leave a 2 to 3 se cgap between yourse and the car in front. Gives you a sec or so to react and another one up your sleeve to stop in time.

SS_Fury
03-09-2006, 05:26 PM
true, but if your at the lights, sometimes its a bit hard to sit that far back - everyone just kinda ques up
