Under Current Ride he says Green VX R8 so even if VXR8 was too much for your poor old brain cell you only had to look a bit further....... :D

i no wat a clubsport r8 is...by the wat the way he writes stuff he doesnt sound like he knows much

does he have a job at gmh or something? who says that!?

:worthless:

And by the way you write stuff it doesn't sound like YOU know much.

The guy is a newbie and my not be familiar with terminology on the forum for those of you who may be challenged by some simple acronyms. I am sure he will spell it out for you next time so that you can fully understand what it is that he is saying.

As Wonky said
"Under Current Ride he says Green VX R8 so even if VXR8 was too much for your poor old brain cell you only had to look a bit further"

It's not that hard to decipher what a VXR8 stands for. Jeez lighten up.

Have you performed any mods as yet? Any pics?

Don't forget to keep an eye open for the cruise that may be happening in the Cheltenham area soon - a good chance to meet a few LS1'ers.

Cheers,

Alan

Welcome aboard. The HSV Green R8 was my first choice when I went looking. Couldn't get one for a few weeks so got the Phantom Black R8 instead.

As mcdeath said "there are a heap of knowledgeble people on this forum that have a great attitude with helping others out"
AND....in the majority of cases this is true, so enjoy your stay and we look forward to some pics in due course. When do the mods begin?

that was a legitimate question. just because you increase the diametre of the rotor doesnt mean that the surface area of contact has to increase. im no brake expert.. build a bridge

So, you're aiming to become a 50 year old in a Camry?

FYI - I have uni and post-grad qualifications so am waaay ahead of you, but choose to drive a modified SS as it's my idea of a fun car. :burnout:

howdy Alan and welcome aboard mate. so many eager new members inspired by the beautiful V shaped donk which is LS1. just to let u know, the more time you spend on this forum, the lighter your wallet will become and it's a beautiful thing!!

as you have experienced there are a lot of "angry" young and old men on this site. if only we could master the art of selective reading! I understand difference in opinions but some just need a couple of chill pills!:nyuk:

once again, welcome to the ls1 forum of anger, insults and occasional education:teach: ... looking forward to seeing some pics of your car soon mate.

cheers

Any idea on cost and outcome in rwkw ?????
how long is a piece of string ? :) outcome would vary as some engines are "freaks" which respond well to perfomance enhancing. can vary from 260rwkw -300ish rwkw... as i say thats just a rough figure im floating around 280 atm... with crap Mackay fuel :woohoo::woohoo:

as you live in melbourne id suggest going and seeing G+D ?? and having a chat to them as what your outcome could be :)
