Its possible but it doesnt look brilliant.. The 7"s are slightly too big and need a fair bit of work to make them look acceptable, the headrest curves too much and so the corners are slightly raised and it looks abit untidy .. the 6.5" are a much easier fit.
I've also seen 10"s in Coulson's .. so anything is possible! :)
i got 7 in my head rest. yeah they are a bit to big but i took mine to an upholster and he slightly adjusted they head rest now they look sweet.

Do you need to buy special monitors for headrest or can you use any type... Reason I ask is do they have problems with heating up.

Any chance anyone can post up some shots of their head rests with screens in place or PM me if they'd prefer.
Thanks

Because I have the VDO Dayton multimedia centre installed in my car and want to use the VDO monitors (if I can find some cheap ones - they are pricey new). By using these monitors I only have to run one cable from the monitor to the boot - all power, sound and vision is run through the one cable) and the system allows (if I have more than just the front monitor) each monitor to choose its source input - ie satnav, dvds, even internet if I wanted to connect through my mobile (still haven't sorted that yet). So I can have DVDs running to the back monitors and satnav to the front or DVD to all three, all selectable through the VDO remote through any monitor. Anyway that would be nice but only have one monitor at the moment.

OK, So the important thing to remember here is, the screens are too big for the head rest's. Your best option is to take the headrest's and the TV screen mounting braket's to an upholsterer and ask him to cut a whole new headrest out of foam then recover with factory cloth avalible from Holden. That's how I did mine and they look awesome! The cost was $240 per head rest tho, so a bit pricey...but worth it. I'll try to get pics up for you. Cheers.
