Current mods so far are:
- 1 3/4" Pacemakers, twin 3" stainless mandrel bent exhaust, high flow cats, mufflers etc.
- lowered suspension
- heavy duty clutch
- 3k worth of stereo
- stupid SS Inductions crap
To do:
- Where for art thou Rip Shift
- PT OTR CAI
- Comp Cams 918 valve springs
- MAF-Less tune
It goes pretty well but is in desparate need of a MAF-Less tune and OTRCAI setup. Then it should go like it should! The HSV short shift leaves something to be desired too, mmm Rip Shift.
I'm absolutely in love with car! All my mates hate me haha. I've never been called so many profanities in my life :D
Can't wait till my mods are done, gonna have a little play with the suspension too ie strut brace, castor kit, diff cradle bushes etc.
Might see some of you guys on the cruise on Monday. Look for the bloody loud black clubby lol. Cheers, Jimmy.
P.S. oh would somebody who knows me please Validate me :)

ers 6,
You have done a very sensible thing in buying property. Cars depreciate but property usually appreciates.
In a few years time if you sell your house for a pretty profit you can buy your dream machine. Well done .

Two hot looking cars Hqcoupe350...
I assume you'll bring the clubby on the cruise next month ?
Is that a short shift in the clubby ? Looks like normal shifter....

ers_6 - Ive made sure that I can afford a rare luxury at my age. No silver spoon here mate. Gotta start thinking along your lines though and buy myself a house before I end up with a twin turbo clubby haha!
jkgmh - cheers mate, for sure I'll be there with bells on
It's just the standard HSV short shift, not bad but needs a Rip Shift

I bought a house at 19 and my SV6 about 6 months later. I think if you bought in a good growth area, most people have enough equity in their property to buy the car they want.
I'm probably a bit different, where i work two jobs so that i can buy what i want.
Back on topic, LOVE THE CAR mate. I was lookiing at getting a clubby, but the insurance at my age wasn't worth it.

Now THAT is one sexy beast.. :headbang:
I have such a soft spot for the old coupes, im very impressed indeed!! IMO one of the better examples Ive seen as well, the old holden coupes are of, if not THE toughest looking muscle cars around, and with a 406 :burnout:

Cheers Sparky, true that, the aussie coupes look so tough. It attracts more attention than the Clubby ever could, let me tell you. Cant wait till the 406ci is ready, should be by summer.
