VY & VZ chev grilles

Can anyone tell me if the VZ SS grille fits a VY(2) SS?
I have looked on the forums and can't find an answer.

I got a VZ SS bowtie grill from Holden about 6 months ago for $124 trade.
The grill is made up of 3 separte pieces.

If that is a genuine grille on ebay and it certainly looks like it, it will only fit a VY/VYII Exec/SV8 and maybe not sure a Berlina/Calais. It will not fit a VY/VYII SS. The VY/VYII SS gets the all silver version.

I too have bid on a wrong grille on ebay. Thankfull to be outbid:dance:
Pitty cos the VZ grilles look soo much better.
What different options are there for VY SS ?
I have only seen the plain stripe with a pale bowtie.
I guess i could paint the bowtie to highlight it better.

There is a Monaro Chev grille or badge as the car exists in the middle east as a Lumina coupe.
On the VZ, I have a feeling the exec and SS use the same grille.

On the VY/VYII SS, it has a grille that is 2.5 inches tall whereas the SV8/Exec is about 3 inches tall. You have to look carefully at an SS and an Exec to spot it.

I am pretty sure I have seen people stick on a rear badge from a VZ over the grille of a VY/VYII SS to get another colour other than the silver.
