I'm guessing it is not possible to get the sports bar with the new Thunder SS due to it having the hard tonneau.

If i want the sports bar, does this mean that i would have to get rid of the hard tonneau and get a vinyl one?

Thanks

Hi TDK14U,
answer to your question... yep!! you'll have to remove the hard tonneau for the sports bar.

Is it possible to get a spoiler (like the one on the Maloo) for the 06 Thunder SS ute?

Would anyone know how much they are. The holden website does not mention them.

I like the setup on the ford ute which allow for both, simple and effective, after seeing the ford ute with it at the motorshow I told the wife that we would get it as I am sure Holden would offer a similar items, a few calls and looking on the net and nothing.

NOTE TO HOLDEN VIP: the idea and design has already been supplied by the opposition (ford), if you make it, it will sell. I will be first on the list!!

Only if you own a Maloo - Dealers wont sell HSV parts to non-owners, therefore it is a replacement part, not an accessory - otherwise find an aftermarket spoiler or someone with a maloo that can get you one

Hi,

The guys at the local Holden dealership ordered in a genuine maloo rear spoiler and sat it on a SSZ ute, the general vote from about 15 people was the the SSZ ute (same as the Thunder) looked better with no rear spoiler.
The owner of the SSZ came down and checked out both options and said to ditch the maloo spoiler, smooth is good!

Cheers.
